Biography

Mr. A. Pandikumar born in a village near Dindigul of Tamil Nadu. He had his B.Sc. and M.Sc. graduation from Gandhigram Rural University in the year 2004 and 2006 respectively. He joined as a Research Fellow under the guidance of Eminent Photoelectrochemistry Scientist Professor R. Ramaraj in the Centre for Photoelectrochemistry, School of Chemistry, Madurai Kamaraj University in the year 2007. He is currently working as a CSIR-Senior Research Fellow. He has received the awards such as DST-Project Assistant (2009), UGC-JRF Meritorious Fellow (2010) and CSIR-SRF (2011). His research interests are semiconductor-metal nanocomposite materials based photocatalysis for environmental remediation and purification processes, modified thin film electrodes for solar energy conversion through dye-sensitized and photoelectrochemical solar cells.
